Thousands of suburbanites travel to Chicago daily and many of them dine in places like Rosebud Prime, Rosebud on Rush, Carmine’s and many of the other Rosebud Family of Restaurants throughout Chicagoland. So when you are dining in Naperville, you have to consider one of Chicago’s Best Italian Restaurants – The “All New” Rosebud Italian Specialties and Pizzeria. Rosebud of Naperville has been around since 1997, but the new location has only been around for a few months.
Since I have dined at the old location near the River walk many of times, I really wanted to try the new location and its new menu .
The inside of the restaurant is very spacious with an open kitchen design and a huge brick oven for Rosebuds signature pizza pies. Big Red Leather Booths, Big tables, wrap around bar, nice patio, and an amazing private party room in the rear.
It was a gorgeous summer evening, so I chose to eat outside. Our metal table outside wasn’t as nice as the ones inside but I enjoyed people watching and reminded me of the patio on Taylor Street.
Our waitress was very outgoing and was very helpful when it came to pairing the right entrée with the right wine.
From the warm bread, to the flash fried calamari, pizza and amazing pork chop calabrese — we throughly enjoyed our meal with Rosebud of Naperville.
Of course, I saved a little room for dessert. One of the best things about going to one of Alex Dana’s Rosebud Restaurants is the desserts.
The New Rosebud Naperville has become the New Mecca of Italian Dining in the Western Suburbs.
